Date a Sad Boy

Everyone knows how to spend their weekend but, him? 1. Make sure you are not dating him just because he is a sad boy. Make sure you are not dating him out of pity either. Date him because you like him, sadness and all. 2. Do not expect yourself to be able to fix or save him. Be prepared to love him as he his. He may not ever become less of a sad boy. Make him smile when you can, keep him from being alone. But don't try to be his rescuer, or his savior. Help him keep it together when you can, and let him break on you when you can't. Do not try to change him. 3. If he has physical scars, kiss them. Run your fingers across them. Tell him you love him  and  his scars. Not for them, not despite them.
